Cottage Health – Goleta, CA

Scope of Work

1.  Provide installation of new overhead fire sprinkler systems throughout proposed Apartment Complex, as shown on provided plans and specifications.
2.  Building construction is type VA approximately 200,000 ft.² in total floor area. Systems to comply with the City of Oxnard Fire Department as well as NFPA-13, 2019 requirements for R2 occupancies.
3.  Fire sprinkler system provided to include overhead piping, sprinklers, risers, earthquake bracing, flow switches, and tamper switches as required.
4.  Heads will be spaced for ordinary occupancies. Fire sprinkler spacing to be a maximum of 130 sq. ft. & 225 sq. ft. in light hazard areas.
5.  All above ground piping shall be but not limited to CPVC, steel sch. 7, 10, 30 & 40 with threaded and or grooved/mechanical fittings.
6.  Fire sprinklers in new scope of work to be new quick response per NFPA 13 2019.
7.  Allowances for scissor lift rental, pick up and drop off included.
8.  Work shall include all materials, labor, plans, design calculations, shop drawings, design coordination meetings, plan submittal, rough & final fire sprinkler inspections.
9.  Copies of Permits & Approved Fire Sprinkler Plans are to be provided to the Client upon request.
10.  Install a Class I/Class-III (2-1/2” & 1-1/2” reducing connections) Fire Department Standpipe system per architectural plans.
