Meissner Clean Room – Camarillo

Scope of Work

FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM INSTALLATION SCOPE: 

 

• Precision Fire’s point of connection to be 6” above finished grade. 

• Sprinkler coverage will be provided throughout warehouse floor space. Heads will be spaced for extra hazard/high piled storage coverage. 

• Fire Sprinkler coverage to utilize nfpa 13 for high piled storage.   

• All above-ground piping shall be but not limited to ​steel sch. 7, 10, 30 & 40 with threaded and/or Victaulic grooved/mechanical fittings.​as required by NFPA  

• Includes: Upgrades to fire riser, mains, drops, hanger, & seismic bracing.   

• Fire sprinkler riser to include electronic flow switch, and electronic 10-inch fire bell (installation of  

the bell by others & wiring to bell and flow switch also to be done by others)  

• Work shall include all materials, labor, plans, design calculations, shop drawings, design coordination meetings, plan submittal, rough & final fire sprinkler inspections. 

• Design-Build Engineering to included. 

• Copies of Permits & Approved Fire Sprinkler Plans to be provided to Client upon request. 

 

BOOM LIFT INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS: 

Storage/material to remain in the warehouse during installation. Configuration of storage/material during  

installation as follows:  

Three paths will be provided through the warehouse (east to west) for boom lift access and branch line installation.  

An additional two paths will be provided through the warehouse (north to south) for boom lift access and branch line installation.  

No material/Storage to be stacked over 7’ in height.  

A pallet Jack will be provided for moving pallets if necessary.
