Scope of Work

Precision Fire Protection, Inc. is pleased to submit this proposal to modify an existing overhead fire sprinkler system for the above-stated project. The system will be designed per NFPA 13, 2022, and all jurisdictional requirements of the County of Los Angeles Fire Department.

OVERHEAD TENANT IMPROVEMENT

• Provide fire sprinkler coverage below the new mezzanine. New coverage to include interstitial space as well as below new suspended and hard lid ceilings only as shown on the Provided plans and specifications.

• Existing upright coverage shall remain the same with no change.

• Fire Sprinkler Heads installed under the T-Bar shall be installed in the center of the tile respectively.

• Fire sprinklers in the new scope of work to be new Viking quick response semi-recessed with chrome finish per NFPA 13 2022.

• Piping added and/or relocated are to meet local and NFPA 13 2022 standards and authority having jurisdiction.

• Work shall include all materials, labor, plans, shop drawings, plan submittal, rough, and final inspections.

Note: Mezzanine level ceiling is open to the deck there will be no change existing upright coverage.

DEMO EXISTING SPRINKLER COVERAGE

• Remove fire Sprinkler drops located in existing office space as noted on the provided plan.

• fire sprinkler drops will be removed and plugged at shell system connection.

ENGINEERING

• Design-Build Engineering will be provided with our services.

• Our engineer will prepare complete and detailed plans for the proposed scope.

• Submit plans and hydraulic calculations with local jurisdiction.

• Copies of Permits and approved Fire Sprinkler Plans will be provided to the Client upon request.

• Our engineer will be given complete CAD and PDF plans as requested and necessary to prepare contract plans for the proposed project.

• Engineering will prepare a complete set of front-end documents and technical specifications for the construction package.

• Engineering will be available for general consultation and interpretation of the plans and specifications during construction.

• Right of access to all properties as required during the execution of the work.

• All plans requested by the Fire Sprinkler Engineer to be PDF and AutoCAD .DWG files.

• Copies of Permits and approved Fire Sprinkler Plans are to be provided to the Client upon request.
